General Instruments is a company founded in February 2015 by Pasquale Patierno, after a long experience in the Oil & Gas as employed of a large US multinational.
The activities in the Oil & Gas business are therefore the "core business" of the General Instruments which mainly deals with inspection and control, Non Destructive Testing and Measurement and testing of electrical panels and for process control systems.
Non-destructive tests are performed by qualified specialists Level II UNI EN ISO 9712: 2012 by means of last generation equipments. The tests and electrical measurements are performed by professionals with long and proven experience in the sector, and in particular the extent and validation of process variables for automatic controls.
The electrical tests are performed with certified instruments, as calibrators and process devices for continuity and insulation tests.
The Company is also involved in the design of special and automated measurement systems and design of PLC control systems.

Since August 2020 General Instruments has obtained the ISO 9001: 2015 certification in the following sectors:

• Design of PLC control systems
• NDE execution
• Electrical and mechanical measurements
• Inspections on behalf of Second and Third Parties
